Resources for Help
Call 304-414-4405 or (800) 540-8659 Information and Referral (I & R) United Way of Central WV primarily covers services needed Boone, Clay, Kanawha, Logan and Putnam Counties. United Way's I & R is available Monday-Thursday 8-4pm and Friday 8-2pm. 

211 is the WV Information and Referral line. The Statewide Information and Referral number is staffed 24/7. 

These are numbers you may call if you are looking for services to help you with Depression, Suicide, and other problems.

If you are thinking about suicide or harming yourself intentionally or have done so unintentionally call 911 or go to your nearest Hospital Emergency Department. 

The I & R numbers do not provide direct assistance, the staff will assist you in finding the best services available to meet your needs. Their services are free, fast, and confidential.
